Frequently Asked Questions

1. Which tyre brands are available at Dolphin Tyres?

Brand availability varies by stock and demand. Dolphin Tyres typically stocks tyres from leading manufacturers serving the Indian market, including options across price tiers. For specific brand and size availability — for example MRF, CEAT, Apollo, JK, Bridgestone, or Michelin — calling the dealership directly is the most reliable way to confirm before visiting.

2. Is prior booking required at Dolphin Tyres?

Prior booking is not mandatory, but a phone call helps confirm tyre availability and reduces in-shop waiting time. This is particularly useful when buying specific brand-size combinations.

3. How much do tyres cost at Dolphin Tyres?

Tyre prices depend on brand, size, type (tubeless or tube), and current market rates. Entry-level car tyres in India typically range from ₹3,000 to ₹6,000 per piece, while premium options can go higher. Dolphin Tyres can share current prices for specific models over a phone call.

4. How do warranty claims work for tyres purchased at Dolphin Tyres?

Warranty claims for manufacturing defects are processed through the tyre brand's authorised service network. Dolphin Tyres can guide customers on the documentation needed and may help facilitate claims for tyres bought from the shop. Regular wear, road damage, and improper inflation are not covered.

5. When is the right time to replace tyres at Dolphin Tyres?

Tyres should be replaced when tread depth approaches the wear indicator, when sidewalls show cracks, or after roughly 4 to 5 years even with light usage. For drivers in Guwahati, road conditions and seasonal heat can affect tyre life. A walk-in inspection at Dolphin Tyres will confirm whether a replacement is due or whether the existing set has more life left.
