Frequently Asked Questions

1. Should I book ahead before visiting MODERN TYRES in Bistupur?

A prior call is recommended when looking for specific tyre brands or sizes, or when fitment needs to happen within a tight time window. For general enquiries and routine work, walk-ins are usually fine.

2. How are tyre prices at MODERN TYRES compared to chain outlets?

Independent and franchise dealerships like MODERN TYRES typically offer competitive pricing, often comparable to or slightly below large chain outlets — though pricing varies by brand, size, and current promotions. Getting a direct quote over the phone helps with comparison shopping.

3. What kind of warranty applies to tyres from MODERN TYRES?

Standard tyre warranties cover manufacturing defects and are issued by the brand, not the dealership. The coverage period varies — typically between 3 and 5 years. MODERN TYRES in Bistupur can help customers understand the warranty terms applicable to the specific brand and model being purchased.

4. Does MODERN TYRES accept UPI and card payments?

Digital payment acceptance has become standard across most tyre dealerships. MODERN TYRES typically accepts UPI and card payments alongside cash, though confirming this during the phone call is a good idea before visiting.

5. When is the right time to replace tyres at MODERN TYRES?

Tyres should be replaced when tread depth approaches the wear indicator, when sidewalls show cracks, or after roughly 4 to 5 years even with light usage. For drivers in Jamshedpur, road conditions and seasonal heat can affect tyre life. A walk-in inspection at MODERN TYRES will confirm whether a replacement is due or whether the existing set has more life left.
